Chocolates, Sweets, and Sours; all are tasty, but this year, canned goods are the delectable treat. Farmington High School’s organization known as Future Business Leaders of America or FBLA has coordinated a food drive on the night of Halloween for many years, but this year they partnered with many of FHS’ clubs, including the ROTC, Special Olympics, Key Club, Student Council, and NHS, in hopes of an even greater outcome. Essentially, instead of students asking for some fun-sized candies, they will ask for any nonperishable food items, such as canned goods, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese mixes, noodles, Hamburger Helper, oatmeal, etc. The members of the these clubs will be out trick or treating from 6-8 pm all around Farmington and in your neighborhoods. Just know if you get asked for some canned goods it is all for a good cause of feeding those in need! Also, do not be timid when asked if you could give non perishables, as the mindful trick-or-treaters are simply wanting to make a difference. With one mindful person at a time, FHS will make the change.    #FHSGivesBack
